Quintain Marketing President John Booth

Annapolis, Maryland, March 26, 2013 – Members of the Baby Boomer generation – now in their 50s and 60s – are seizing the opportunity to realize their personal passions, transform their lives or build new careers based on their life experiences. Some of them can use a guiding hand. Second Act, premiering Thursday, April 18 at 8 PM ET, is RLTV’s new series that takes adults 50+ at a critical transition point in their lives, and arms them with the tools they need to succeed. Host Paul DiMeo, the popular carpenter and designer best known from nine seasons on two-time Emmy Award-winning Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, assesses the participants’ strengths and challenges. He then assembles a team of experts to provide encouragement, advice and assistance to help them get off on the right foot.

John Booth, President of Annapolis-based agency Quintain Marketing, has been selected by RLTV to join DiMeo for six episodes of Second Act as the team’s marketing expert.

“I am thrilled to be working with the team from Second Act on this project,” said Booth. “At Quintain Marketing, it’s our mission to make great marketing accessible to small businesses, and the companies we work with on Second Act fit right within that demographic. There is nothing more satisfying than helping someone build the business of their dreams.”

Boomers are craving programming that is made for them and relevant to their lives, just as it was when they were in their 20′s, 30′s, and 40′s, according to research conducted for RLTV by Millward Brown. The study also found that boomers are more engaged viewers when programs contain content that help them improve their lives.

Some of the topics featured in Second Act will include:

Going To The Dogs – once her kids are grown, a woman opens a doggie daycare but quickly realizes she is in over her head. Can Paul and his team help her turn the business around before she loses everything? (April 18)

The Show Must Go On - a woman is laid off from her job and with her severance launches an African American community theatre. She’s a good director, but can she learn how to pitch and raise money for her productions in order to save her dream? (April 25)

Serving Up Success - a couple have always longed to own their own restaurant and nearly achieved this years ago but their dreams were put on hold. Now, can these restaurateurs find success in a very competitive, challenging, and physical industry? (May 2)

Comic Relief - a man, looking for purpose in his life after his career as a government attorney, has always wanted to be a standup comedian. Can he make it in a New York City comedy club? (May 9)

The presenting sponsor of Second Act is Fidelity Investments, helping more people save for and transition into retirement than any other financial services company.

The 10-episode, half hour series is produced for RLTV by Executive Producer and Creator Debbie Jacobson, and Executive Producer Brian Armstrong. Executive in Charge of Production is John Mernit. For additional airtimes for Second Act, visit www.rl.tv.

Annapolis, Maryland December 3, 2012 —

Annapolis, Maryland-based marketing agency Quintain Marketing is proud to announce that it has been named by marketing automation software provider HubSpot as a Gold level Value Added Reseller (VAR) partner.

Formed in 2005, Quintain Marketing provides marketing, social media, and promotional marketing advice and services to small and medium sized businesses in the Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington, DC areas. Since the company formed its social media practice in early 2009, it has become a rising star in the digital marketing industry and earned a reputation as a thought leader in the field of inbound marketing – a methodology which refers to the process of creating compelling web assets that attract engaged consumers.

HubSpot, developer of a marketing application designed to simplify the task of building web assets, is widely respected as a leading technology firm. HubSpot’s highly advanced marketing automation software suite enables companies of all sizes to quickly and efficiently build and maintain optimal web properties. HubSpot technologies have helped more than 7,500 companies around the globe attract and convert leads within their target markets.

In an effort to provide advanced training to the very agencies that leverage their products, HubSpot created their Value Added Reseller (VAR) program in late 2011. Based upon tier levels, the partner program designates those agencies who are leveraging the Inbound Marketing methodology to better serve their client base. Success as an agency is ranked quarterly and partners are placed in silver, gold and platinum tiers. As one of only 32 companies in the world to be named a Gold level VAR partner, Quintain Marketing is proud to accept this designation.

“I am extremely proud of our team and what we have been able to accomplish with HubSpot,” commented Quintain Marketing Owner & CEO Kathleen Booth. “To be recognized as a Gold level partner within just one year of joining HubSpot’s VAR program is an outstanding achievement and we look forward to growing our partnership with HubSpot in the year to come.”

With plans already underway to grow its portfolio of inbound marketing clients through its company blog, social media, and email marketing, Quintain Marketing expects substantial growth, both in terms of the company itself as well as its client portfolio, in the coming months.
